One of the main things we get asked here at Media Movers is “what is the difference between duplication and replication?” Put simply, duplication is the same as recording a CD on your computer but on a mass scale, replication is “pressing” a disc in a factory environment. Replication is used for medium / large runs of 500 up to tens of millions.
The quality is that of any shop bought CD-rom or audio CD disc. The manufacturing of CD's and DVD's (Replication), entails producing a glass master from your original master from which we create a metal stamper which acts as a mold for "pressing" the discs. These molded CDs are then printed (usually off-set) and packed with your packing option (refer packaging options) before we delivery to you. This service is aimed at providing you with the industry standard product at the best available price in the shortest possible time.
The finished discs can then be packaged in to nearly every style of packaging available. We use exceptional quality screen and off-set printers for your DVD slicks and CD covers and booklets. We can also package your discs in to our custom mailer solutions. Tray pack and printed card wallet options are avalable with our replicated discs.
